The Q&A Page Builder

Google has a dedicated rich snippet format designed specifically for forum threads and support desks where a single question receives multiple community answers.

CRITICAL: QAPage vs. FAQPage

This is a common schema error. If your page has multiple different questions (like a standard "Frequently Asked Questions" page), you must use the FAQPage builder. The QAPage builder is strictly for pages where the entire webpage is dedicated to answering ONE single question (think StackOverflow, Quora, or a dedicated support ticket).

1. The Question & Accepted Answer

Because the page revolves around one query, the setup is highly specific.

The Question

Input the exact question being asked. You can optionally define the Author who asked it, and the number of Upvotes the question has received from your community.

The Official Answer

Provide the acceptedAnswer. This is the single, authoritative response. You can link this answer to your Global Organization, the Post Author, or a Custom expert.

2. Community Answers (Suggested)

A true Q&A page usually features input from multiple users. Use the Community Answers repeater to add suggestedAnswer nodes.

Each suggested answer can have its own specific Author and its own Upvote count. Google uses these upvote counts to understand the community consensus and often displays the top-voted suggested answers directly in the search results if an "Accepted" answer isn't present.

3. Citations & Subject Context

If your answer relies on external data, use the Citations repeater to list your sources as CreativeWork entities.

Just like standard articles, you should use the Subject Entity panel to define what the question is about (e.g., mapping a question about iPhone battery life to the "Apple" or "Smartphone" entity in Wikipedia).
