Settings: Homepage Entity

This is the most important tab for establishing your site’s authority. The data here creates the primary schema for your homepage and identifies you as the publisher or provider for all other schema on your site.

Homepage Represents

Choose if your website represents an Organization (for a business, brand, or group) or a Person (for a personal blog, author, or portfolio).” (Pro-tip: Use the “Text” tab to wrap Organization and Person in <code> tags for that professional “tech” look).

Organization/Person Details

Fill in all fields as completely as possible. Your Name, Logo, Address, Contact Info, and Social Profiles are used to build a robust entity.

This data is what Google uses to connect your Article schema (as publisher) and Service/Course schema (as provider), which is critical for E-E-A-T.

Page Links

You can link to your site’s “About” and “Contact” pages. This adds subjectOf and contactPoint properties to your schema, further strengthening your entity’s connections.

Global Schema Switches

From here, you can also globally enable or disable:

  • BreadcrumbList Schema
  • WebSite Sitelinks Search Box Schema
